Las Vegas, 28 May-2 June 2018
Photographic Highlights, Part 1:

As promised in the previous blog entry, today I am sending out some pictures from my recent trip to Las Vegas with my good friend Anita.

28 May:  Tucson to Las Vegas

At 9am we drive out of Tucson in Anita's Eos convertible, with its automatic retractable hardtop safely packed into the trunk (leaving very little room for anything else).  We enjoy the fresh air and breeze as we head west on I-10 (in reality, north; check out a map) at a brisk (and legal) 75 miles per hour.  By 11am, as we are heading northwest out of Phoenix on US 60, the sun is already unbearably hot and we enclose ourselves in the welcome cage of air-conditioning.  The convertible hardtop is completely hands-free--at the touch of a single button the trunk pops open, the top folds itself neatly into its designated space in the trunk, and the trunk lid closes and locks.  In a few short minutes we are on our way again.

28 May:  Lunch in Wickenburg, AZ
