Holland America ms Prinsendam

Will and I are getting ready for our next cruise and invite you to sail with us (virtually, of course), roundtrip from Amsterdam with port stops in Hamburg (2 nights); Ronne, Denmark; Gdynia/Gdansk, Poland; St Petersburg (overnight); Tallinn, Estonia; Stockholm; Kalmar, Sweden; and Copenhagen.  There are three "sea days," with one spent sailing through the Kiel Canal that cuts across northern Germany.

Because the Prinsendam is a small ship (only 800 passengers), we will be able to sail through the narrower waterways of the Elbe estuary, the Kiel Canal, and the Swedish archipelago.  I sailed around Britain, Wales, and Ireland on the Prinsendam in 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the small ship.

We have been upgraded by HAL to a Concierge Neptune Suite on the upper deck (the largest suite on the ship with the exception of the one Penthouse)--over 500 square feet of living space, including a walk-in closet, dressing room, bathroom with two sinks, and a double-sized veranda.  We are looking forward to the special amenities that come with these suites:  including on-board spending allowance, complimentary laundry and dry cleaning, early boarding, no-wait boarding of tenders, private Neptune lounge with unlimited all-day refreshments, cocktail receptions with the crew, special breakfasts in the Pinnacle Restaurant, and the services of a dedicated concierge (for locating lost collar stays or repairing broken suitcase handles, e.g.).
