Day at Sea
Today's special event is the Polliwog Ritual to celebrate crossing the equator. First-time crossers must prove their worthiness to King Neptune and Queen Neptuna. They must also "kiss the fish" to demonstrate their loyalty to the sea. They are then rewarded with green sea slime.

Although today's blog describes our day at sea on 16 December, Will and I are actually getting ready for sleep for our last night on Marina, 20 December. Tomorrow morning we fly to Cusco for a new set of adventures. I will continue the blog from there, so that you will get to visit Manta, Ecuador; Salaverry and Trujillo, Peru; Callao and Lima, Peru, as well.
Happy dreams to all.
