Day at Sea
For lunch I have a chicken pita sandwich with tsastiki sauce and Will indulges in the most exotic meal of the cruise, an all-beef hotdog and fries. Dessert is red velvet layer cake.
At 3:45 I join a large crowd in the Club Lounge for Team Trivia. The team I sit with, "Home Alone," does fairly well on the day's theme, movie quotes, but still end up losing to those better informed. But everyone enjoys good laughs at the often absurd answers.
In the evening we share martini time with a lovely lady, Susan from North Dakota, who is traveling solo to Rome.
Tonight we have the second of five reserved dinners in Soleil, the special dining venue--unlike on other cruise lines there are no additional charges on Seabourn. The menu here is different from the Restaurant, where we have been eating most often.
And the grand finale dessert is Tiramisu for two prepared table side (by Alexander).
